The Iowa Basketmakers Guild, founded in 1998, fosters appreciation for traditional American basketry. The guild serves the Tri-state area of Iowa, Illinois & Wisconsin. Members gather monthly to share ideas and maintain interest in the craft. Together they pursue opportunities to educate and to promote basketry in the community. They meet at: Northeast Iowa Community College (in
